My Kshar Sutra thread has been out for 2 days and here is a picture of the wound healing. It's still very early days but as you can see there is a lot of new healing tissue. The big bumpy thing is healing tissue and also I had a lumpy thing there before the Kshar Sutra thread cut the area (the bumpy thing actually had to be cut through because the fistula went through it). I'm in zero pain, not on any pain killers and have experienced no incontinence at any point during my Kshar Sutra procedure. I have to take cotton soaked in iodine and clean the inside of my anus twice a day, as well I have to take cotton soaked in iodine and pack the wound twice a day. This doesn't hurt and it's not uncomfortable. Stool has stopped coming out of the area (!!) So far so good. I will see the doctor in a few days and he will assess how the wound is healing and then we will head back home to Canada.
